Add a pinch of salt and few drops of white vinegar to the baking soda, dissolved in some water. Dip the bristles in the mixture and brush gently. After brushing with the baking soda paste, brush with regular toothpaste.
Take the baking powder and add a few drops of glycerin to it until it forms a paste. The mixture should not be watery. Now, take a tall glass of water and add the hydrogen peroxide to it. Dip your toothbrush in this solution and place it on the baking soda and glycerin gel. Brush your teeth thoroughly, and continue to dip your toothbrush in the hydrogen peroxide solution while doing so. Once you have finished brushing, gargle with the solution.
Like all natural teeth whitening methods, use of baking soda too has its set of downsides. The abrasive nature of baking soda wears off the teeth enamel leaving it weak and damaged with frequent use. It can also irritate the gums, and result in painful gum infections.
